ABOUT COLLISIONWARE
Our story begins in 2008 when we stumbled upon the need for a cooler oven mitt...
Despite its practicality, the market lacked both appealing design and high-quality options for oven mitts.
This lightbulb moment led to the creation of an entire line of kitchen goods focused on whimsical and fun patterns made with top-notch materials.
2008
Collisionware as side gig
Collisionware started as a side venture for Angie. Over four years, she juggled it alongside her job as a photo editor at Tiger Beat Magazine.
2011
Collisionware goes full time
Angie's love for sewing stole the spotlight, marking a turning point for Angie as she decided to dive headfirst into her full-time self-employed dream, propelling the brand to a new level.
2020
A family affair
What started as a one-woman show has transformed into a family business, with Angie's husband, Brent, and sister-in-law, Jenn, joining the team.
Our Mission
About Angie
Angie's upbringing in the mountains of Northern Utah felt like growing up in a bustling craft studio. With her dad painting and her mom mastering everything from crochet to woodworking, art surrounded her.
While she didn't learn sewing directly from her great-grandma Pearl, a local sewing legend, Angie believes she inherited her talent. In fact, she proudly carries Pearl's name as her middle name.
Now settled in Portland, Oregon with her husband Brent and their dog Roadie, Angie's love for 90’s rock, tattoos, camping, and travel continues to shape her life.
For Angie, nothing beats starting her day with coffee and diving into her sewing machine.
Even after 15 years in the business, vibrant fabrics still excite her.
Sewing isn't just a job for Angie; her pup, Roadie, has taken on a few duties.
